USS Enterprise WIP #2
The second update on my progress with the BIG E.
About this creation
I've finished the top part of the superstructure, all the remains is the lower two levels of the superstructure and then begins the long tedious process of building the hull, that huge six foot hull. oh spare me!

The rear of the superstructure I finished.

The rear mast.

The rear gunner.

The rear deck crane.

1 of 3 long gun sets, they will go underneath the main deck, two on front, one at the rear.

And now, my F6F Hellcat fighter!

I hope to make more for the completed carrier.

Cockpit view.

The double lifeboat launcher on the starboard side. The starboard side extends over the water for the superstructure, but the port side of the superstructure extends over the flight deck. So lifeboat launchers on the superstructure could only be on the starboard side. (S+tarboard means right, port means left. For all of you who don't know.)

I've added many more minifigs, I now have: 1 captain, 1 co captain, 1 officer, 1 runwayman, 1 engineer, 1 fighter pilot, 2 gunners, and 3 sea men.

This thing is the most amazing and awesome and generally cool thing I have ever seen on MOCpages. This could very well be the biggest MOC ever, barring (of course) Thomas Benedikt's planned 13-foot Super Star Destroyer. Something to work toward, no? Awesome, awesome job. Love the Hellcat; reasonably accurate for the scale.

Cool. I have a suggestion for the hellcat(s) Make the double tail into a single tail but other than that it looks okay. I would suggest looking at some pictures of the real hellcat to help you make them more accurate. Good Work. L8r, Mav

Six Foot! Yeow! You're gonna need a lot of brick for that. How much ship above the water line will we see? More brick and more work. Have fun with that. Nice plane. see ya. garth
