About this creation
This was built by me on a dare by Tim Gould. My end of the challenge was to make an 8 wide Ghan model in 24 hours, whereas his challenge was to make an Indian EMU in the same time. Two people from two different countries making locos from each other's countries. How nice!

After finishing the basic design however, a number of my fellow community members (CMs) from JLUG had a go at the design too. The lime green background renders are made by Tim, whereas the one seen in the main picture is by Allister McLaren, whose computer spent two days rendering it o_O

And to think he pretends not to like trains....

Credit for the camel decals goes to Tim, and the 'THE GHAN' lettering is by Ross Crawford. Tim and Allister also changed/added a few minor details here and there on the loco itself; So, in short, this really was a community effort!

Hats off to them!

By far I think this is the best work that you have done Samarth. Clean lines, solid looking, excellent detail. Even though I am not a train guy, I can still see how awesome this cad model turned out. Nice! And plus, it's clean ;)
