Argent Lumber No. 4 is a 2-8-0 Narrow Gauge Locomotive originally used for hauling timber from the logging site to the mill. Today it sits at the Connecticut Antique Machinery Association, in Kent, CT.
About this creation
The real No. 4, taken with my cell phone camera. I was just out for a drive and had no idea it was up there.
I set No. 4 in its natural habitat, surrounded by young trees awaiting their day to go to the mill.
I tried to pretend there were real pistons on these small drivers.
There's barely room for the engineer in there, who's looking a bit disgruntled seeing as I took him off duty driving Emerald Night for this job.
Wow, I like it. I am a fan of American narrow gauge and it looks like you got the overall shape right and it looks to scale. Oh and don't worry about the side rods on the small wheels they do their job by looking good atleast. ;)
