Heavy bomber for the UNE produced by the UPA, who provides weapons, aircraft, vehicles and mech support.
About this creation
The bomber I've been working on for the past week, due to laziness it took this long to post.
Here you go!
Name-R-965 Prowler Heavy Strike Bomber
Armament- 4 30mm heavy autocannons, 4 Class-4 Plasma Artillery,
4 interchangeable weapons hardpoints, 8 80mm rocket pods, 1 56mm heavy chaingun. (Pictured later)
The R-965 is used for bombing runs on EOS weapons bays, scout posts, bases, grounded frigates, and anything else you can think of. Its variable weapons and high maneuverability make this craft hard to hit, and devastating to enemy ground forces. The rocket pods, autocannons, and chaingun can bring enemy air threats to the ground, and the bomb hardpoints provide a terrible fate for structures and infantry. It can go into space, but the chaingun must be removed.
Rearview shot of the tail and engines. I thought that this part came out well. Close-up shots on it later.
Left side. Most of these shots are of the craft in lading position, with the wings lowered.
Front/nose. Here you can see the chaingun, and a low view of the other weapons.
Bottom view of the bomber. Pictured on the hardpoints are four 1-ton tactical nukes.
Engines and taillights. I'm proud of this area, it turned out better than expected.
Wing details, with the autocannons.
Close-up on the cockpit details and rocket pods. The cockpit could have been better, but meh.
Everything detached from the main structure of the craft.
Cockpit interior. As I said, could have been more spacious and detailed.
Final shot of the pilot showing off the chaingun. You can imagine what this would do to a tank, or mech, or platoon, or...
Until next time...

Awesome bomber, but if its a multi-role fighter why not just name it R-965 Prowler Strike Fighter/bomber? Not that I'm hating on it or anything. I need to ask you if I could use your fighter/bomber to help defend my new fagship soon to be posted, the Tachyon? Even though my Flagship is heavily armed it houses extremely valuable tech that needs to be defended at all costs. My flagship just may help turn the tide of this war. |

I think i has too much tongue weight, though. Move the wing's slanted thingy back a little, and you should be good. |

Wow, this one packs some serious firepower... Great job, very nice lines and an overall aggressive vibe. Maybe the nose section could be made rounder/thicker, a housing for the powerful chaingun?
Eh...well the plane itself is destroyed, I tend to do that after I post something. |

A really good shape, but I think that it's 'too thin' to be a heavy bomber. Try adding studless panels. :) |

could it blow up Erik's cupcake factory?
Without a doubt, but John's right, why would we do that? |

Why on God's green Earth would we destroy our supply of cupcakes? Nice work. I understand you wanted it to be compact but as a general rule bombers are usually thicker with more armor. Still great work though. |

meh its ok but try to make it bulkyer its just too thin and try adding some more details to the engines
I was going for a compact design so thats why it's so thin, and I do agree however on the engines. I was going to leave them off I thought they were so bad! |
