Sorry flux. I know you said a while back it would be shame to see the city in ruins. To do this it was quick and relitivly painless. Just stood up on my bed and well dropped the City. I have to redo many parts of it anyways. My brother was shocked however as he walked in as it landed. and this is the result. It will be used in a up-coming comic of mine

They heard the sickining sound of metal being torn like paper, glass shattering and raining down.
"Damage report"!!
"Inertial Dampeners offline"
"Venting Atmosphere"
"Damage on all levels,
"structural stability compromised" We only have one jump left before the ship is torn apart. Hairline fractures throughout the ship

Atlantis flew through the Atmosphere plummeting towards the planet. Trying to give cover to the drones weapon platform on it. Atlantis was intercepting all enemy weapons fire as it burned up in the Atmosphere without the protection of its sheilds. The peirs were being shredded as the evacutation ships from earth were leaving.
"FTL on Standby"
"On my mark Jump"
IMPACT.
- The drive didnt respond. Impact was iminate.

The city rose slowly from the earth. refusing to die, refusing to give in. It was a wreak, only central peir intack with half of sublight engines offline and the others blown in half. Yet if flew. They had one last chance. One shot at victory. They were worthy of survival.

Sounds great so far, im definately looking forward to the comic. I'm sorry to see your Atlantis torn apart but i know you will build a better version of it. I'm thinking about making a city ship myself with out using ldd. |
