First try at a great theme

About this creation

The Access Urban Assault Mech specializes in highly urbanized environments and often is one of the first units sent into battle to gain control of an area (hence the name "access"). It is armed with two 220mm mortor tubes with 20 rounds total used to bombard the enemy before attacking. It also has 3 220mm rocket tubes for anti-vehicle and anti-mech uses and an 8 barrel 25mm gattling gun for anti-personel use. The Access also has a small radar and communications system.

This is my first Dawn Forge creation inspired of course by Brian K. I used his new joint system described in his UNITY light mech for all the joints. This looks very similar to Brians UNITY because the inspiration came from that moc. The main body of my moc is longer and the legs are set back further. Also the legs on mine cannot rotate completely forward like his(see pics on his page). Thanks Brian for created such a great theme and for the inspiration.

P.S. Its also great to see another fellow wisconsinite on here!

That’s a really nice design…very DF. I like the use of the joint technique on the “hip” connection. Great job, Kenny.

For your first try it's actually quite good. Keep on working non it and try to develop your own personal "touch" and I can see you being one of the better mech builders on MOCpages. Keep on building ~ Nowhereman
