About this creation
Though the world had seemed peaceful enough in the aftermath of the war, the CEO and his son still had weapons divisions established as soon as they were viable. The first product to come of this was the prototype Advanced Trooper, the Kerykeion. The prototype was used in turn to assemble the improved mass-production model and mainstay of Corusa Industries's arsenal, the Kerykeion Mark II. Just as the first Peska located and attacked Corusa Industries' main city, proving unstoppable against conventional weapons, the first Mark II was prepared for launch. It was soon revealed that the high-performance Mark II was quite a match for the Peska, and proved victorious in that first encounter. The unit was soon mass-produced, with over one hundred being rolled out in the first production run.

Designed to be an all-around multipurpose combat unit, the Kerykeion stands roughly 16 meters tall and seats one pilot in its abdominal cockpit. Due to its multiple verniers and lightweight Titanitefloalloy armor, it has very high agility, especially for a machine its size - the inertial dampers within are easily capable of handling six or seven Gs.

For ranged weaponry, each of the Kerykeion's arms mounts twin beam submachine guns, which fire flechette-like bursts of plasma at medium range with decent cutting power, though it may take several seconds of sustained fire to take down a Peska. In addition, its chest mounts a more powerful focused laser for long-range attacks.

In melee, the Kerykeion needs only one weapon - its right arm carries a foldable armblade, which flips out when in use. Laser-sharpened to a razor edge, the blade can cleave through most armor like a hot knife through butter. A single swing is usually enough to slice an opponent in half - the blade is also anti-beam coated in order to deflect the Peska's beam saber.

One Kerykeion of note was piloted by Alexander Kanbara, a young ace serving on the cruiser Arbalest during the war. Though he would protect the ship and its experimental cargo admirably, his unit was eventually overwhelmed during a pitched battle, and he was forced to make an emergency landing. And so, in his desperation, he would pilot the prototype unit into battle...

Nice! Good to see a return to the good 'ol AF frame roots (I need to do that sometime). You've got a way with LEGOs as well as words (I threw in a little on my latest creation but I have an idea that incorperates a full-blown short story that I need to work on) Great work. Keep on building ~ Nowhereman

Quoting mithryl dlarix I' liking this one--maybe I'm just partial to swords. The pose in the first picture is particularly eye-catching. Also, I can tell you're an aspiring writer. Are you making it up as you go along, or is this something thats been in the works for a while? Either way, very well written.
The main Industrial War storyline is made up as I go. There's actually a bit of a long story behind this one - I have a hyperactive imagination, and one day as I was walking down the street wound up envisioning my primary roleplaying character piloting the Mark III in a fight against a powerful opponent mecha. Now, said main character's rival is portrayed by an e-buddy of mine, and after a few conversations we had the kernel of this plot. There's plenty more to be written, which I'll be doing within each of these articles.

While Gundam Exia was the inspiration for this particular configuration, it should be noted that I originally designed the Kerykeion's armblade in summer 2008, well before I ever watched Gundam 00. Exia simply inspired the asymmetrical use of only one blade seen here. It should also be noted that the color scheme of this Mark II is slightly different, due to new parts legalities and a better knowledge of what makes a good color scheme.
