E.O.S. fighter contest 1st place :)
About this creation
This is a heavily armed and shielded craft, that is primarily used as an interceptor.
Due to high production costs, the D.A. probably won't face it very often, but if they do so, they will learn about its deadly abilities very quickly! :)
Some are based at my anti-starfighter frigate .
The fighter's basic weapons are two light plasma cannons. However, when encountering stronger enemies, the two side-mounted heavy plasma cannons are best suited for destroying other fighters with a single shot. The shot sequence of the heavy plasma cannon is rather low though. On top of the craft there are three heavy missiles. Those are best used against larger enemy ships.
The chrome silver makes the blue look brighter than it is. ^^
The engines. Nothing much to say here, though I personally like the blue shining of the chrome (it was photographed on blue background).
The cockpit turned out really nice in the end, I had some problems first to fit the module in.
That's actually an ejection seat, in case of emergency (which is rather unlikely though). It has its own engines, so the pilot can get out of the battlefield. It has no weapons, and therefore falls prey to enemy fighters rather easily. Anyway, there is a good chance for pilots to escape.

Nice ship, but the engines are a bit small for a fighter of that size. I look forward to seeing more in the future. |

Nice. I think the best things about this one are the wings and the rockets on top. Besides being able to blow up your enemies, I gather they have another function: you don't have to tell your enemies to back off, they'll get the message when they see the rockets |

Well, my first version didn't include those missiles. But since this is a contest entry, and weapons are the most essential part to be judged here, missiles are absolutely necessary ;) Star Wars has missiles too ^^

This is great, I love the shape, color striping on the wings, the cockpit interior, and those little tubes on the side of the cockpit. I also like your missle design, but I don't think they work well on a futuristic starfighter. Even with that tiny nitpick, I still think this is awesome. Kudoos. |
