A project I finally found the time to realize.
About this creation
A few years ago I build a small scale Eagle One spaceship. Since then I planned to do a large scale one as well. I have been collecting parts and ideas for a long time and finally finished it. Today I took some pitures.
I am proud to have build it without the use of any stickers and have it self supporting even if it is quite heavy. It has the original frame structure and there are pilots in the cockpit.
Hope you enjoy

Do you have the list of parts you can share? I don't think anyone can do the Eagle better than you did. Amazing. |

A wonderful bit of building. I always thought the series had some great design elements despite its flaws. Well done indeed! |

hi, it is a panel element partno.:30079.
The pod is build in two parts that are facing studs up (the upper one) and studs down (the lower one). They are connected inside with half height technic beams and partno:32324
Hope that helps.
P.S. the model is 100% pure lego, no glue, no cuts.
P.P.S the silver dishes are connected using click-its

What brick is used at the corners of the outboard pods. I have searched for more than 3 hours on bricklink and peeron without success. I have used the search terms 3x3, slope, 33, 45, wedge, corner all to no success. Please help. |

Very nicely done! John and I have an EXTENSIVE "to do" list for MOCs...and the "MK IX Hawk" from Space 1999 was one of them. Once we see someone do a terrific job like you have, we scratch it off the list! No sense in trying improve on this build...it's wonderful! |

BTW...yes, we know it's a different ship, but your representation of the show through your Eagle is WAY beyond adequate! (just threw those "research" photos of ours into the recycle bin!) D'n J |

Spectacular! Wow, that is awesome! Space 1999 was on when I was a little kid. I didn't like the show very much, but watched it only to see the Eagle One in action. Excellent work! |

Oh my…this is a truly amazing MOC. Sometimes larger creations get away with sub-par textures and detailing simply because the pulled back perspective necessary to photograph them is so much more forgiving. But this looks amazing close up as well as at a distance. Outstanding work. |

This is absolutely stunning! As a big fan of Space 1999, I'm very familiar with, and fond of, the Eagle transporters. Your handling of the curves, the tube-like elements, and the proportions is nothing short of brilliant. I've wanted to do this ship for some time now...no need at this point! I couldn't possibly have done it better. Beautiful work! |

Nice- I don't know what it's based on, but this is both very sleekly shaped and realistic: not many builders around here bother to put RCS thrusters on their models. All told, it's very rounded on the cockpit and I'm amazed it fits figs, and the frame you used just looks amazingly complex. I'd probably go mad if I tried something like this. |
