Australian Soldiers From World War II
Australian soldiers form World War II. I haven't seen really that many of lego Australian troops from World War II made on this site, so I decided to make these guys.
About this creation
Here are some Australian soldiers. I hope you like them!

Australian infantry soldiers. They mostly fought in the jungles of Asia against the Japanese invaders.

Heres a pictures of them marching.

Another picture of them.

G'day mate!

He's holding a sword because they would use them to cut away vegetation that would be in there way when they needed to go somewhere in the jungles.

And here are the rifles with bayonets. The bayonets are from my G.I. Joe sets that I still have in my closet. I should had use these in my World War I vignette.

Pretty cool. Anything Australian WWII is pretty uncommon in Lego, but you captured it pretty well. I'd recommend getting some Brickarms, those Lego guns don't match the quality of your minifigs.

As my grandfather fought against the japanese, and my uncle is fighting in afghanistan, i noticed some of the hats are on backwards. But a cool vignette. I am making a similar one.

Good hats and tucker bags. MLP gives good advice below. Sand People torso have perfect Australians bandoleers. The hats are perfect but be careful! The lifted brim goes on the left for every ANZAC. Some of your lads are wearing them backwards! Soldiers worry about stuff like that. Notched blades are accurate for Joe, or COBRA, but I donít think they cut it for the Australians. Smooth and sharp is more their style. Stick with the gray Lego dagger. Attack!

You're on fire! Excellent minifigs! The double satchels look great on them. Very clever idea for the bayonets. Are you gonna buy some weapons from brickarms? They'll look great on your soldiers. A tip: maybe you can find some use for this torso? http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/973pst. It could be usefull for soldiers. ~M
