"Assault At All Costs . . . Again?"
Britsh infantry troops charging towards German trenches during world War I. This is my second more improved "Assault At All Costs" vignette. I hope you like this one more.
About this creation
I hope you enjoy this vignette!

A view of the vignette with British infantry charging towards a German trench.

"Onwards with the assault lads!"

"This is our second time assaulting their trenches sir! This is just becoming bloody ridiculous!"

A killed British soldier lying in a bomb crater. He was blown in half.

One of his legs.

His other leg.

One of the new things that I added. A shredded tree that is now on fire.

A hidden landmine.

Another landmine. This one is not that well hidden.

Gunfire from German machine guns.

And here is my well known barbed wire design.

Another new thing that I added. The edge of a German trench.

The point of view from the British soldiers.

A different view of the vignette.

A point of view if you were in the trenches.

And heres the overview of the vignette.

Quoting Jesse Halverson my brother is mad cuz he says that the barbed wire is just a fish net on the ground and he wants to know why the tree is burning from the top down instead of the bottom up (i wanna know that too)but this good
Well, anything happens in war. I made it burning from the top down because a spark from a nearby explosion caused that.

Clearly an improvement to your older Assault At All Costs. The flaming tree gives it more dimension. My only tip is to use different kind of flames. The flames on the tree are perfect but you can use this for the floor: http://www.bricklink.com/browseList.asp. That way you have more variety. ~M

Quoting Michael Rutherford Well, no giant insects. That's a big plus in a WWI dio. As for the mines...don't beleave the hype. Display them on the surface. Mines are frequently placed in the open. It prevents the attacker from seeking cover, thus makeing him more likely to get shot durring the attack. Attack!
    Good idea.

Quoting Jack Fonchezzz nice, clever use of pieces. That's a quality build. How did you connect the knives? That doesnt look like a brick arms U clip.
I used very thin rubber bands.

Wow Ghostman, another fantastic vignette! All-round good build, and that dead solider adds the finishing touch to it. As a piece of future advice, you have now perfected the skill of small vignettes, but now I think it is time I would like to see some else from you. Maybe try a bigger vignette next time, I know you can do it, and I'll bet the results will be phenomenal. -Dylan

Really nice! one thing I might add though, that dead solidier should be a black skeletan indicating it was badly burned instead of white which implies that the guy has been dead for quite some time. It's a great vig though! (I like those bayonets)
