About this creation

“Greetings, Mr. Manning. Have a seat.”
"I'll stand for now."
"Suit yourself."
“Are you Mr. Black?” Manning looks around the sparse room.
“Yes, I am.”
“I don’t know you? Why have you asked me here?”
“I think the more important question is who, and where, are you?”
“I’m not fond of riddles, Mr. Black. Explain yourself.”

“Directly, Mr. Manning, directly. Coffee?”
“No.”
“Perhaps you’d like a Croissant. I’m having one.” Tray appears with coffee and croissants.

“Well, maybe a Croissant.” Manning takes a croissant and a cup of coffee.
“Wonderful. They’re fresh baked. There’s always some fresh somewhere. It’s one of the perks in our business.”
“And what sort of business would that be?”
“Why, the control of space and time, of course. That would be our business. That could be your business.”
“Perhaps I didn’t make myself totally clear on the riddle thing.”
“Oh, you did, Mr. Manning. And I’m totally crystal in my job offer. Our organization has need of a man with your talents. A shape shifter is a valuable asset to any team, and please don’t insult me with your eminent denial. I can see it crouching, there in your throat, waiting to spring.”
“It wouldn’t be hard to figure out what I am. How hard is it going to be to figure who you are?”
“I’m an open book, Mr. Manning, though my cover is false. You may not have guessed but I’m not from your Earth. I'm from an Earth in a parallel universe?”
“I always thought they were just a theory.”
“Yes, a theory, and a reality. Travel between them is very controlled. It wouldn’t do to allow unfettered traffic between the worlds. Someone has to watch. We are the gate keepers. We’d like you to join us. As I said a man of your talents could come in handy. The remuneration is excellent and there are benefits that you would not believe.”
“This is a bit of a surprise.”
“Of course it is. Perhaps you’d like a bit of a look round while you digest your thoughts.”

"Nice lamps."
"They're imported."

“It’s here that our operators watch for trouble. We have some amazing technology at our fingertips. Our operators can see just about anywhere and anytime. You should see our blooper reel. Real life bloopers. But to be serious, illegal time and space travelers need to be caught. Dimensional breaches need to be repaired. Croissants need to be bought while they’re still warm.”

“This is the device that runs the whole show. The tall thing is the Orgone Accumulator. It can bend and stretch the very fabric of space and time. Ogone is the universal bioenergetic force lying behind and causing much, if not all, observable phenomena. There’s a pocket fusion reactor for power and the shiny balls are for the disco we have on Saturday nights.”

“It’s amazing.”
“I can understand you’re being overwhelmed. I’d recommend mulling it over.” Mr. Black snapped his fingers and Manning vanished with a faint pop. He appears in an alley near his apartment. What will he do next? Take the job or continue his current lifestyle? It’s up to William Dalton to tell us, or not.

It's very enjoyable to see a MOCtag in your particular and great style of build and writing ! The story is great, all the different rooms are nice, and I really laughed with "The Orgone Accumulator". And the croissant. And all ! MOCtag isn't an easy challenge and you've done it with style !

Yes, I believe I smell the heavy aroma of interestingness steaming from this brilliant MOCtag. Thank you, Garth! Nice, solid build, and great, intriguing dialogue . . . this has it all. You even included photos of previous 'tags on the monitors (I found mine). Job well done! |

Yep. I was two hours late. If only I hadn't spent the afternoon going through a 100,000 LEGO parts to pick out all the pieces I wanted at $20 a gallon. I was just selfish. see ya. garth |

Wait a minute, I just noticed that this was posted 15 days after the last one! A day late! LATE! LATE! Way to go, Garth, you've ruined MOCtag! Can it ever hope to recover from this butchery?! |

And Garth takes full advantage of the new unfettered verbiage policy... But what is this? The makings of a story? Events proceeding logically yet creatively from the character introduced in the previous MOCtag? It's the dawn of a new day! Don't screw it up, Dalton! NO PRESSURE! |

Garth catches the ball and runs with it... very well done. You've opened it up for some good twists. And I do have to admit I enjoyed seeing a picture of my own MOCtag in there. I had to point it out and say to myself, "Look it's mine." Look, it's mine! |

Thomas N said about the same thing I was going to say. This was a really great episode!!! "He shoots and scores" I believe its the first time i've seen someone take other MOCs and turn them into surveillance shots. Brilliant. |

Amazing, the rooms and all the details, especially the computer screens with past episodes, really added to the whole effect. And the story line was entertaining and fun, great work! ~T |
