OH what fun, it is to ride, A two seated SNOT chopperrrrrrrr!
About this creation
Finaly! I haven't posted any real MOCs in a LONG time... This whole build was done last New-Years Eve... I guess I just never got 'round to posting it... heh... AH well, here it is in half it's glory... I couldn't get any decent pictures of my Cobra... bah; it's all because of demons! I used only one picture to build this whole thing, yeah, I can't believe it either!

The whole design is SNOT, but the blades are 'stud less', they just looked better that way.

The whole build is really sturdy...until you drop it...come to think of it, I haven't dropped it yet...never mind, I just did.

It just makes you want to make helicopter sounds! Doesn't it make you want to make helicopter sounds? Come on, you have to want to make helicopter sounds!

I think it looks boring all light grey...I should have put some decals on it.

I wish I could have come up with a good 'dio' idea, but after finishing this I was stumped.

Nope, look again, this isn't the same picture as above.

Helicopters are SO stinkin' cool, that's why I just HAD to build one!

In the image, I spun the blades, WHEEEEE!

...UM, right, anyhoo...What a sleek look she's got!

Two missiles on each wing, yeah, that's a poor armament...

A big antena, for WHAT? Listening to the BBC! And broadcasting how dang-cool Keith Goldman is!

AND a chin mounted machine gun for mowing down bloody infantry, HECK YEAH!

...Another picture...

I built the whole thing in ten minutes, would you believe it? Ten! What's that, you find that hard to believe? Would you believe 3 hours? No? How about all stinkin' night long? Ha, yeah, you believe that...and that's how I passed the time last New-Years Eve...

Mmm, hmm, just as I suspected! Needs more greebles...in the end of it all, I think the whole build could have used some...

The cockpit is sloppy, but for a Bell AH-1T Cobra, it's the best I could come up with...

Those uncanny studs must be covered...I think I went back and put a grill tile over them...but I don't remember...

Like my machine gun? Moving right along...

Listen, they're broadcasting, they say, "Goldman rocks!"...yeah, that's right...

The underbelly, the Bell AH-1T Cobra had skids, but I wonder if it would have looked cooler with wheels...hmm...

WHAT IS THIS CRUD! COLOR! YOU PILOTS WILL LOOSE YOUR CAREERS AND THIS CHOPPER WILL BE BURNED FOR THIS! THERE IS NO COSTUMIZATION ALOUD YOU MUST BE A MINDLESS DRONE!

The blades on the back are perfectly placed and sized...yep...perfectly...

Haven't I posted this picture? Ah, well...

Actually there are a few dark-grey pieces...but only a few...

What a FLAT nose...

Now I think about it, I probably should have put a plate across the back of those wings...Ah well...

The pilots don't have too much room...

What a flimsy cockpit...bah!

Moving on, yet again...

I think I took too many pictures...

WOW, now that's a screwy angle!

The hull turned out pretty darn good!

“All right, you can cut pieces out of me... You've got the power... But you do it out of fear! Remember that! Because you're afraid of me! What are you afraid of, doctor?”-- I doubt many of you can name the film that quote came from! BUT, a slice of pizza goes to whoever knows AND doesn't look it up!

I know I posted a picture just like this one already!

A grill topped off the tail…

And one more boring overall image...

I call this picture: "Fuzzy-Wuzzy"!

Another super screwy angle...

The tail turned out just as good as the hull...
These were two dioramas I tried to put the helicopter into, but neither turned out...

Sweet! I agree with JD Luse, though. Some reverse slopes would work well. I also think that the second dio wasn't bad, actually. :)

I don't have any at the moment, but if you'd really like some, I'll see what I can do. You'll have to be patient, though, as I'm rather busy. |

Wow! We're trying to catch up on some stuff, and this one's really great! It doesn't need the decals...it's a terrific build, and a lot of the photos are excellent! |

Great work here Caleb, nice job at making this one, for the most part, stud-less. My favorite part though would be the cockpit design, I think that the use of the "rope" pieces defiantly worked well. Nice design, -Dylan |

I'm impressed that you can make an excellent comic AND this kind of MOC ! Very nicely done and really accurate, this is great !!! PS - The dio with the white car is really funny !

Oh, it's alright. =) GREAT work, pal! I love the exceptionally sleek design and the weaponry turned out fantastic as well. My only complaint (which really isn't a complaint) is that I think it could use some reversed slopes on the wide "wings" on the back. Other than that little dealio, I love it. Well done! |
