About this creation
The fourth of five Dawn Forge builds from the “Zero Hour on Highway 44” collaborative project. I will be posting the final one in the next few days. Here are the links to mine and Keith’s Zero Hour postings in case you missed them.
Influenced by Carter Baldwin’s sweet APCs. The only armament is the ubiquitous high velocity 35mm autocannon. Remember, this is supposed to be an APC…
Better quality pics on flickr.
Seats six soldiers, with two or three more possible if they don’t mind standing. Yes, the guy on the end needs to take off his hat…;-)

Here...try this.
Well, we’re almost done thank goodness….only one more Zero Hour MOC left. I’m sure you’re tired of them and I know I’m tired of taking pics, but the end is in sight.
As always, thanks for looking.

A really great creation. The use of the castle panels for mudguards is a genius idea. Thanks. |

As a mechanic myself, I appreciate the eternal lesson that there is no problem, big or small, that cannot be fixed with a really big hammer. Great APC, looks like it can get in and out of any situation with ease. Agile AND beefy. Kudos. |

Where does the driver sit? It has the green sensors for a human controller, but I can't for the life of me figure out where she is. |

Wow... I know you pro-ish AFOLs don't really pay attention to most of the TFOLs out there like me, but I have to say that I've had an idea for something like this floating around in my head for such a long time, and then to see one done so well! Just so you know, I'm NOT going to ask for instructions. |

It's wonderful, but I have one question: where's the driver?
Edit: Nevermind, found it. Anyway, it's cool, and I really think that other Dawn Forgers like my self should look to this for inspiration. |

It's a favorite of mine. Great detail with the wheel area. Great formation with LEGO pieces joining side ways and cool SNOT technic. I almost think some of my creations could be DANW FORGE material, but..... you be the judge and master. Thanks for the inspiration. |

Hey, I have got another question: At the DF creations of H. 44 I noticed this green and grey stripes together (you know which ones I mean, right?). Have they some kind of special meaning, or have you just added them because they look cool? |

Field Marshal Kescenovitz, again, your work delights and terrifies. The subtle angles and the articulation / suspension…very sexy. This thing looks like a block of hate filled steal on wheels. Does it meet Canadian emission standards? Attack! |

Brian, these are the kinds of creations I wish Lego would consider producing - clean look, imaginative subject, and great building techniques. Of course, I prefer the no-studs look, and I doubt they'll ever go that route...shame. Anyway, love these guys. The functional elements are a nice touch, and the build is as slick and well balanced (color wise) as they come. I'd tell you what a stellar builder you are, but no doubt you'd throw it back in my face on the next round of smack-talk! |

You never cease to amaze me. Wonderful clean shape overall, and nice choice of weapon. The steering surprised me, I didn't expect you to include that, though in retrospect I don't know why. What amazes me the most is that you actually managed to fit people in it! Every single APC I've ever built has only been able to fit about three guys inside, then yours comes along and blows all my stuff away. Not that I mind though. Excellent work! |

Everything about this rocks... The use of the castle parts as wheel fairings, the steering mechanism tipping the rear wheels, and the angled glacis of the front plates are my favorite bits. This definitely goes with the heavy armor look of your other stuff, and the design for the shape is great. The fact that it has an interior too is impressive for the size. Fantastic job, as always! |
