After making the vehicles for the hoovercraft, I tried my hands on a single house. It was fun, so I decided to build a whole street...
About this creation
The first house. The city hall.
Second house. Another fachwerkhaus to go with the city hall. A bar, and apartments.
A bank.
Hotel. Windows not quite good enough.
Shopping mall.
Lastly a public administrative building. I am particularly happy with the windows on this one. The same brick as with the three first hosues, but turned 90º!
Ideas not implemented; A tram-line with overhead caternary wire and a classic yellow/white tram. (Implementing rails would change the whole concept of the road.)
A park with trees and benches.
A statue -maybe with a fountain.
Smaller details/accesories; wastebaskets, fire hydrants, Busstop etc. (Again; the concept of the road would have to be changed from simple baseplates to something like a snot road...)
this is so good,it actually makes me rethink about the micro uses altoghether!...i ve seen other eminent story telling creators use micro,in very interesting ways, but, this is pushed to the limit! excellent!
Very nice. A good solution to use window-pieces etc. on a 90% rotation. Much more detail this way on these small 4-wide houses. Nice vehicles too by the way;)
Very nice! I am impressed with the detail. I've never worked at this scale, and can't readily tell how you achieved some of the effects you have, but it looks like I could learn a lot about SNOT techniques by studying the details. Thank you!
