The Luftwaffe's strategic bomber, named after a very big bird in Germany.
About this creation

Top view of this large, flying type of rare beast.

I bet you weren't expecting a turbojet slapped into the back of a prop-propelled bomber! Yes, this makes it supersonic, too.

Underside. The Reichsadler carries six external bombs, plus four 20mm cannon for...ground attack...yeah, sometimes it does that, too.

BAM! Betcha didn't see that coming! Ok, so maybe you did, but anyway, this bomb bay can hold four bombs. I'm going to try to expand it soon to see if it can hold more. When a door opens, two bombs fall out. When the other door opens, the remaining two are dropped. This is a great improvement over the bomb bays my neighborhood friends have used; They were just a simple trapdoor that released all of the bombs at once. I am close to being able to release them one at a time...but not there yet!

View of the APS turrets; there are these two on the top (those bricks are there to hold the turrets in place when not in use) , that's four guns, plus two in the chin and another two under the tail. That's a total of eight guns. All are run autonomously by the APS software programmed into them.

These APS turrets can shoot down any incoming enemy missiles, making them an indispensable cutting edge in strategic bombing operations.

And there you have it folks, the Reichsadler, the mighty imperial eagle, ready at any time to carpet bomb a target into a gaseous state of matter.

Thank you, and don't forget to rate and comment!

The design is nice, but I agree that the multicolor is an issue. Anyway, there is no APS in the 1950's, and software is extremely minimal. In other words, those guns are just that, manual aimed guns.

Aside from the multi-color-ness I like it. The idea of mounting APS turrets on a bomber is interesting.

I like it! "Luftwaffe" is a german word. And "Reichsadler" too. Are you german? I think not.

It looks pretty good, I like the four engine one the best, If for no other reason than that all the propellers match, good build! -T
