Ok gang, so many of you are rattle my chain over this big black cow pie, but I actually an proud of it. Why? Not only did I use the hull technique provided by Maxime MaxSamAlex, I did the rest of it myself by thinking about the greatest pirate movie ever -- The Seahawk, starring the one and only Errol Flynn. Besides, I had to build it because like an idiot I mentioned a ship in Glomshire Knights. So I built it.

The Black Barnacle is the fastest ship in Lord Jerek's corsair fleet. It is also, for the moment, the only ship in the Glomshire fleet. Guess I'd better try Bricklink.
Yes folks, I made that sail myself and I intentionally built it in all black. Hey, only the best that money can by for Glomshire!
Can you blame this dude? Not only does he sail on this ship, but he's in Glomshire Knights as well. I didn't have any rope to hang him from the yardarm, as per his request. So he sleeps with the fishes from now on!
Seriously, what looks like a simple build was a challenge that took me two evenings and 15 minutes at the computer (to find the pattern, print, cut and mount the sail) to finish. Were I to do it again, I'd do some things differently. I don't see that happening anytime soon as I'll have to keep this together a while for Glomshire Knights. To my readers, my thanks. The rest of you bozos can kiss off!

Seriously cool ! It's what Lego is all about: making cool Toys ! The hull and the sail are great, a fine build really, very enjoyable !
