The Areetsa Edition Samus Aran
Version II, now 50% more accurate to the game, which is entirely unrelated to The Game, which you just lost, by the way.
About this creation
Just so you know, the 50% is the pose, see this link: One of the poses on the first row looks very similar to this pose.
That was deliberate.

However, this particular moc, like most of my current Metroid stuff, is not in any game: where they fit is in one of two options: option I, they're models of Metroid Fusion II. Option II, they're part of an alternate Metroid universe.

Seeing as the new dio I plan to upload in a couple of days is a representation of Upper Brinstar, II might be more likely.

One of the updates to the new model is the arm cannon, which is changed.

In this image, you can see she now has a jetpacky thing.
Just like in Prime, except not: wrong shape, wrong game, wrong planet, wrong suit.

In this image, the hypothetical viewer may percieve that I have swapped out the elbow-katana for a Fusion Suit-esque forearm spike, although the elbow blade remains, albeit shortened.

I'm not sure how I feel about this model; I either like it a lot or I'm not too fond of it. It looks odd, to say the least, in some poses; like this one.

I think it's the arms; they're either downwards oriented, like the cannon arm in this pose, or horizontally oriented, like the left arm in this pose.

Look, a missile!

In the 2d metroid games, which my entirely fictional Metroid Fusion II possibly might be one of, those same missiles act more like dumbfire rockets than the seeking missiles of the Prime trilogy.
Probably for balance reasons.

Although if they REALLY wanted to balance the games, they'd be well advised to dispose of the infamous 'Attack' with its double-entendre first half of the name.
I made that item, too: you'll see it eventually, trust me. Not that its that complex.

This pose here makes it look a bit more impressive, in my personal opinion, which counts for a few billion votes with regards to what I do, as opposed to your puny one each.
Just in case the majority want me to go jump off a cliff, or take a stroll on a telephone wire, as one 'Master Mac' thinks would be a good idea.

'Heeeeree, Metroid Metroid Metroid...'

Rate if you will, comment if you wish.

I'll likely get a bundle of them complaining about the wasp-waist, although I DID widen it a few millimetres.

Quoting Knoll grey i got it as soon as it came out. it is one of my only games i can pick up and play through any time. my brother actually told me to do a speed run.and a speedy run it was, i beat it in about 35 minutes with about 24% item pick up(bosses are a BI7CH with only 8 energy tanks, especially the SA-X)
Oh, if you think THAT was hard, try a fifteen percenter Hard run on Zero Mission; Ridley will chew you up and spit you out, and you have to choose if you want extra missiles or an energy tank.

Quoting Master Mac umm... yeah.. sorry bout that lol... your acctually a very good builder! just try to be a little more posetive please! youd be a bit more popular... just a thought.. anyhow yeah sorry for being a bit of a jerk.. ps. do you want to join my group?? its called ''a world of creativity (lego)'' anyhow hope to hear from you soon! ps great job on this moc!!
No, sorry, in a few too many groups as-is: if I keep adding more, I'll end up posting in Space while thinking I'm in UNEA...
Quoting Caleb Cutlass-Crocodile Blanchet The legs look a little long, making the whole build un-proportionate, but besides that, good job!
I think they're about right myself: the lower torso makes it look a bit small, but the arms would reach down to about the right spot on the thighs... IF the elbow joints would permit them to just hang down.

Quoting Knoll grey Fusion rocks, i can beat it with 97% in about 3 hours! 3 hours and 10 minutes for 100%
Well, I managed a 1:20:55 completion time with 44% of items in Metroid Zero Mission. I DID get sidetracked here and there, and I made a couple of mistakes from not playing for a while, but I don't know about Fusion; I've played, but I've never really tried a 100% run.

Quoting Jesse Nelms Great use in helmets! Your quite skillful with mini-fig stuff.
Thanks; I was originally trying to build a Skaborr killer to humble Fed a bit, but I, ah, kinda got sidetracked. As usual.

Quoting GooGoo GaGa The Great i am sooooo building something like this for my next moc (itl be a huge fortress with mechs, vehicles, and all sorts of cool technology)
Well, I'd warn you: the joints on this sort of thing can be either or both annoyingly wobbly or irritatingly difficult to move, depending on how well the joint components fit together. Not the knee joints as much as the thigh, elbow, shoulder and ankles.
Quoting Knoll grey the muzzle flash is an excellent addition, but its a little bit too big.
It's a missile; the Metroid games are rightly famous for their pyrotechnics, especially where beams come in: this is actually a bit small, in comparison to the flashes in Zero Mission and Fusion.
Quoting Cody G I really like the use of the rebel helmets for shoulder pads. great job!
You're not the first to say that: they are a bit fragile, but they elevate the model from 'so-so' to 'good'. A decent trade-off, in my opinion.
