Here's my entry for Tterbo Magnesium's pickup contest. I realize the front end could still use some work, so I'm still looking for a way to improve it. Right now, I don't have all the black pieces I need for some fancy SNOT work, so please be patient!!
About this creation
Time to spin it! *drools on keyboard*
And so concludes today's spin.
I'm extremely sastisfied with the way the chassis turned out!
This is probably one of the only things that doesn't need improving.
Now let's take a look at the interior.
Yes, I'm experimenting with a new adjustable seat design. Sorry 'bout the holes in the seats. ON MY LONG LIST of things that I could improve...
I like the way the dashboard turned out, though. ON MY VERY SHORT LIST of things I don't need to improve.....
And now the back end...
There's an opening tailgate here, but it's kind of pointless, because there isn't much room in the truckbed. (thanks to the spoiler)
This truck might look harmless to you, but underneath this hood lurks a MONSTER! [dramatic music]
Okay, so maybe it's not a monster, [dramatic music stops] but I think it's one of the cooler engines I've desinged.
Everything's open...
Now let's take a look at some shots of the truck without the spoiler, in case you were interested.
My main goal is to design a better, smoother-looking front end, so be sure to check in now and then.
Update: April 6th, 2009. Here's the new SNOT front end! It's still a bit blocky, but it's a huge improvement over the first one.
Pretty sleek, if I do say so myself.
And finally, a shot without the spoiler. Suggestions, comments, and constructive criticism are always welcome. Thanks for viewing!

i might start crying again *sniffs* its another perfect car to compete with firas' Ford GT. XD peace man. Whoa, hold on there! I might be a pretty good 10-wide builder, but I can't compete with Firas. I'm glad you like it, though.

Hey Nate, I just had an idea: how about 'black mamba' for a name? (in case you don't know, it's one of the most poisons snakes in the world). No offense taken if you don't like it, just an idea.
Yeah. I'll give it a try. Sounds cool! And I like snakes, too. I have a pet corn snake that swallows mice whole. (evil laughter) |

Nice truck think you could post some instructions for the engine.
Funny, I've actually been thinking about doing that. I'm not sure if I'll be able to get around to it right away, but I'll see what I can do. |

Well, I think you might be right; the front end could use more work, and I can't wait to see the improvements... For the rest; I think you've played this beauty so well, my favorite bit was the back, the interior is good, but what about the holes on the seats :0 great work on the functional elements as well, and the bottom is even more interesting, keep it up my good friend, and let me know plz when you done with this >>> peace.. Fofo :) |

Whew! That was extremely tempting to comment before, but those threats you gave me last time had me bed ridden for a week. lol. Very interesting truck, it looks great. I agree with you that the front needs work, but the rest is really nice. I really like the tail lights and the spoiler. I will post my truck soon, but before I do, I will have to do the unthinkable: order parts.:( I have never EVER ordered parts before, but this is a necessity, and I'll have to suffer. ~tterbo~ |
