A seven story bank building constructed in the neoclassical architectural style. It is not based on any specific prototype but incorporates common features seen in older banks. This building was included as part of MichLTCs city display at the NMRA National Train Show in July 2005.
If you had tiled the sidewalk in the "Details of the pilasters and arches of the facade" picture, I honestly would not know that it was even made out of Lego, it is just that realistic. And in the last pic, if we couldn't see the underside of the plates that make up the roof, it would look just like a real building also.
This creation really stands out as a defining piece. It just goes to show how amazing an artist can be when he's nto trying to re-create an existing building.
You may have sent me off in an entirely different direction with my Legos. ALl the while I've been thinking of the next building to re-create, and maybe I should just design my own... *goes off to bricklink to rethink his purchases*
