ISH-Ex.PWP-MOD.01 "Makai" + BONUS
An infantry support hardsuit in the CFS military. And, a little something extra...
About this creation

The ISH-EX.PWP-MOD.01 "Makai" (Infantry Support Hardsuit, Experimental Prototype Weapons Platform, Multiple Operational Directive Model 01) is a light, fast hardsuit designed for mobile light armor and scouting roles. It is named for the ammunition it's machineguns use: MAKAI (Multipurpose Autofire-capable Kinetic Armor-piercing Inertial-spun) rounds. These rounds travel much quicker through the air than normal bullets, and can have their spin computer-controlled to curve around cover or to hit a fast-moving target.

This particular 'Makai' has suffered damage to it's left foot while in combat with massive feline creatures, and has had it's foot jury-rigged with older parts (If you can't tell, my cat knocked it overy and I can't find the original foot) =)

Armament:
2x MAKAI .62 caliber machineguns (drum-fed from 10,000 round drums; these are changeable by infantry when empty)
4x MT-.125-MP (Missile Tube, 125mm, Multiple Payload) launch tubes, capable of firing various types of missiles from 16 round magazines (the curved brick at back, also infantry-changeable)
1x Ex.P-RDL-SS.46-AC 'Ricochet Biscuit' (Experimental Prototype Razor Disc Launcher, Single Shot 46mm diameter Autofire Capable Variant) anti personnel weapons mounted between the missile tubes (these fire shuriken-like projectiles that ricochet off of many types of surfaces for anti-personnel use)
2x NL-GSER-A.349.AI 'Super Baller' (Non-Lethal Gyroscopic Spherical Elastic Rounds, Automatic 349mm diameter, Anti-Infantry) anti-personnel weapon mounted on the outer surfaces of the cockpit (these are the steering wheels)

Statistics:
Max Groundspeed: approx. 75k/ph
Max Airspeed: N/A (418.32k/ph terminal falling velocity, but no flight capability)
Terminal Boost Velocity: N/A (no boosting functionality)
Armor Density: 763j/cm
Fuel: 450 hours continuous operation

And now, for the + BONUS part:
Many of you have already seen the 'Makai', so I thought I'd post a little something extra...
RANDOM HUNTER FIGGY!

Before you even ask: Yes, that is Hagrid's beard.
No, I don't know why he is wearing snow camo with a black pelt, but oh well...

Also, the sheer number of unusual parts in this is huge:
2x Shovels
2x Minifig Beanies
4x Minifig Binoculars (Type 2, with curve)
2x Goblets
1x Minifig Scuba Fin
2x Steering Wheels (1.25 stud diameter)
3x Turntables (Small) Upper Body
4x Skid pates, Inverted
2x Pickaxes
3x Window Frames
4x Minifig Blaster Bodies
2x Oil Cans
1x Steering Wheel (1.25 stud diameter) Base, with 45 Degree Slant
2x Hinge Rods, 8L
2x Minifig Hands
2x Window Panes (1 Medieval Type, 1 Grated Type)
2x Minifig Binoculars (Type 1)
2x Magnet Holder Brackets
.
.
.
That's only off the top of my head!
Anyways...
Thanks for viewing!

Quoting Phong Chang reply to you,
Quoting Toby Heinemann Not nearly to the extent that you are, but it's a great series! Interestingly, though, there are multiple translations for the main quote-- In the English dubbed Special Edition DVD release (I bought it!!) it translates as "Surpass the impossible, and kick logic out!"; in the official Japanese with English subtitles, it's "Surpass the impossible and kick reason to the curb!"; and in another translation of the Japanese with English subs it's "Surpass the impossible and kick off with momentum!"... Random, huh? I'm planning to buy the second and third parts of the series special edition too. WHO THE ____ DO YOU THINK WE ARE!?!?
I want to get it in Japanese, because it sounds more EPIC that way. It will be amazing on my big screen!!!!! MY friend said the following was THE coolest thing he has ever done: He invited 5 friends over because his friend let him borrow his TTGL DVD and they watched the entire series on his big screen!!! Imagine the EPICness! He said that the ones who were seeing the series for the first time kept trading stares with him during every EPIC moment! Imagine how EPIC it must've been to see TTGL for your first time on a big screen TV!!! I sorta wish that I hadn't seen it yet and was able to have my first time experience on a big screen! Also, the real quote is, "Go beyond impossible, and kick reason to the curb!"
I know, and it sounds the most EPIC. In fact, I'm having a fried over this weekend-- number 1 point of interest is FLCL start to end and episodes of TTGL! By the way, this friend of mine has the nicest TV I've ever seen: 74" diagonal Plasma flatscreen in 1080p resolution. Once I get him hooked on TTGL, we will watch it on his TV when I have the whole series, while drinking blood orange soda and eating way too many Dibs. Nothing your friend did can surpass that. I agree with your comment about the voices. However, the English dub is actually very good; my only beefs with it are that Simon sounds too young and that they pronounce names the Japanese way. You get used to it, but it's still a nuisance... See-Mon... It's really annoying when Kamina says it... Oh, and for no apparent reason they renamed Ritona village as Littner village. If, however, they screw up the voices for mature Simon (which, judging from the intor at the start of Episode 1, they didn't) and Nia I will file a formal complaint, and listen only to the Japanese dub with English subs (it comes on the Special Edition release, too!). But, you should seriously consider the Special Edition series-- the first part comes with an artbox to hold the DVDs, which opens through Gurren's mouth (WOOT!) and comes with a light-up drill core that glows with Spiral energy, in addition to DVD bonus features and both audio tracks in Dolby 2.0 or higher, the English is in Dolby 5.1 Surround Calibrated. The second bit comes with a drawstring backpack, with Gurren-Lagann's image on it, and the same DVD extras noted above. Though it hasn't been released yet, the third part looks like it'll come with two soundtrack CDs, an artbook or something similar, another DVD extras disc, and the above DVD extras. TTGL's so EPIC, I don't care the cost, I want it in special edition just to say I have it!!!!!

WOOT! I'm getting everyone into TTGL!!! I got a friend at school into it as well as multiple people here on the Pages! I'm also getting 2 other friends at school into it. I made a bet with my friend Chris, who over-glorifies DBZ that he'll like TTGL much better and his favorite anime! My friend Alex is also watching the series and wants me to give him my TTGL drawing.(I'm a good artist.) Also, in art class, we have to do Pointillism, the single most repetitive painting style where you use only millions of dots!!! I don't have the patience. Anyway, my painting is of Simon, TTGL written in Japanese konji just how it is shown at the title, a drill behind Simon, and the Dai Gurren Dan emblem with a galaxy behind it. It's turning out EPIC!!!!

Quoting Dali Zheng Your CFS theme and my Ceres Metal theme are kind of similar. check out my profile page... I've outlined Ceres Metals Industries and its building style.
Interesting... There are some definite similarities in build style and color, and the names are quite similar too (Ceras Fleet Systems vs. Ceres Metal Industries), which is remarkable considering that they both originated at about the same time... On a totally different note, I'm working on two mechs right now-- one in 'new' CFS style (like 'Wight Knight') is a no-armed racer mech for the CMC; the other a slow, lumbering heavy defensive unit in the 'old' CFS style (like the 'Macharius'). Both will be posted sometime next week.

Quoting Matt S. I like it all down to the ankles, then it gets hairy. Too spindly for the rest of the mech, but it is a bonus so I shouldn't complain really. So ankles/feet bad, rest of hardsuit awesome!
It seems this is everyone's point of dissatisfaction, so in one of the variants I'll address it (hopefully). Thank you!

If I haven't yet mentioned this, anyone who wishes can steal my ideas or techniques for this mech, or produce their own variants and copy it outright (same goes with anything else new I figure out).

Quoting Thomas Andrews Mini?
Extrapolate. Do you want to make a mini of it? Are you asking me if it is a mini of something in my head? I simply don't understand the question. It is a full-size hardsuit that fits figs, and if you want to miniaturize it you may. Thanks for the rating!

Actually, you can fit almost a fig and a half inside! The window panes are great for this because they add internal spaces without adding too much external bulk. Thanks!

Wow, definite points for parts use originality. I know its your mech and your own preference, but I would have bulked up those feet a bit. Still, great building! Peace - Packie

Quoting Crimso Giger It must have been a pain to design and to build, but the result is awesome ! I love the... "chest", really nice work with unusual parts !
Actually it wasn't as difficult as one might think. The only tough part was getting a good foot design, I started with the upper legs and worked from there. Oh, and thank you!

Quoting Dali Zheng This is an excellent hardsuit! I like how the torso is built, very creative. The only thing that bothers me is the feet, there's one rod sticking out where the ankle is that looks out of place. Other than that, great job overall.
Thanks! I know what you mean, but I couldn't find any parts to add that improved the look. It stands fine as it is, and I like it's twig-feet!
