AT LAST! The famous Young Indy sequence at the beginning of the Last Crusade has been built! By me, anyways. This isn't set to a collector's version, so that's that.
About this creation
This was the one scene I never thought I would build. But, once I got over procrastination...and my LEGO Indy idol Brain Williams made his...I recreated the train in bricks.
Let's start from the front. This is a pic of the locomotive.
The boiler of the locomotive(the main body) was curved by two plates standing slanted.
A basic train car design. This is the giraffes, but I didn't put stickers on it.
The roof, though you can't see it at this angle, was slanted slightly by putting pates running in the center of the ceiling on the train car, and then placing plates under the roof plates. when I lay them down, the support from the central plate make it slant.
The Chase! Indy bounds over the cars as he tries to escape the grave robbers. In this pic, he dodges someone's attempted tackle on the flat car.
The House of Reptiles! I hope you like the stickers, this is my first approach at something like this.
The caboose turned out better than I thought. At least, the roof is in the right places and the rails are nicely positioned.

The interior of the House of Reptiles. It isn't really the inside, bu you know what I mean. This is how I felt while building this.
