About this creation
My Sandcrawler concept model - the Utgard Desert Fortress. This crawler is a much larger successor to the original Sandcrawler, with the capacity to hold complete mining and mineral processing facilities and living quarters for an entire mining colony.

The model itself features details like a huge loading ramp and an elevated deck and personnel entryway for docking access and open air observation.

Rags naRock: Thanks for the review! Good point about the crawler's non-brownness. I would if I could, but I'm pretty sure I don't have enough brown to build this. Maybe someday when I get the Sandcrawler set, since it's chockful of ugly brown goodness!

Hehehe, this is a great mini fortress-crawler. Cool idea too. I actually prefer the grey version because of some little details like the cross on top.

Those crazy Jawas and their antics. It'd be interesting to see a full size version, but I'm not sure a crawler is a crawler unless it's brown.
