My first motorized MOC! Woo-hoo! A ship truly desrving of the name, Ragnarock01.
About this creation
RAGS-OC-01:
Reproduces Abnormal Gravitic conditionS - Offensive Craft Unit 1
The first unit was unanimously named the Ragnarock by it's design team.
It was a prototype offensive unit, built by Othanian Heavy Industries. It's unknown how many were planned to be built, but only 8 were made. All units were slated for use exclusively by the Othanian Asteroid Colony, well known for their ingenious and unorthodox technology practices, as well as general hippy activities. Because of their hippy nature, the colony was often blockaded by the MAN, disrupting their economy and supply lines until they hid their hemp and acted like they had jobs. For this reason, they needed a fighter with incredible defensive and offensive capabilities, that could smash through a line of cruisers and reopen supply lines quickly.
The RAGS-OC series was designed for this purpose, brimming with missiles, heavy forward cannons, and ultra thick armor. Unfortunately, unit number 08 experienced a massive technical breakdown, resulting in what is now known as the 'Othanian Hole' a small, stationary black hole that destroyed the Othanian colony. It can only be guessed that the accident was a result of the ship's highly experimental Gravity Impeller System. After the incident, the RAGS-OC series was thought lost along with the colony, though rumors of at least one rouge ship still persist....
Since the RAGS-OC-01 is motorized, here's some movies for ya:
gatling1
gatling2
gravimpeller1 It’s kinda hard to tell, but the rings are counter-rotating.

Also, Since the uncertainty with Brickshelf, I lost the previous layout on this page, so for now I'll just upload a few images from the original gallery, which can be seen here.

Dude, this thing is a monster. The overhead view is jaw droppingly awesome. The detailed jutting lines all over the place blending together to make a graceful and menacing overal visage is a stroke of mastery. Love this thing... |

This is really really cool. I'm totally loving the droid wheels, but what sells me is the landing gear. hooooboy! That's a hard thing to do on a ship like this. Great job. |

Wholly Crap Batman! This ship is quite a feat to say the least! It hurt my head just trying to figure out the basic construction! Interesting, nothing I've seen out there like it! Cheers! ~ Paul. |
