My 5th 'Edz challenge MOC, and my Knight of the Broken Cross.
About this creation
Kalimak Starroud (nicknamed "Archangel") was once one of the top paladins of the Knights of the Broken Cross. His faith led him to conquest in many great, holy battles against many different enemies.
However, after losing a particularly gruelling battle against the Gruumsh-rak people (a race similar to the skakdi), he lost his faith. The hardships of battle were merely too much for him to continue beleiving. How could his lord allow his own followers to suffer so brutally?
He fled to the islsand of Xia. After a while, his spiritual powers left him, and he became dependant on the technology of the place. In time, circuits replaced faith. Wires replaced honour. And cold, steely hatred replaced his soul.
He is now a member of the Dark Hunters, destroying whoever he is told to in order to gain material wealth. The Shadowed One holds him in high regard.
Here's a good theme I found for him. Not only to accentuate my MOC's personality and story, but also to advertise DigitalPeice, the composer. He's the best I've seen on youtube, and I've seen a lot!
After long ago turning in his sword, Archangel now employs a powerful repeating ion cannon in battle. It is an extremely powerful weapon.

Chest armour. I *think* I've kept to the right colour scheme for a KotBK, unless you count the purple highlights. I don't. Maybe they're just some form of Xian tech stuff that he wears now.
Without the msk on. It's from a Mega Bloks Gyrofighters set - something a bit like beyblades, but with little models that come with them. I think that the silver one was called Cyclone...
Now, I know it's mega bloks, but that's no reason to downrate. I got Cyclone as a gift long before I joined MOCpages. I think I was 9. Anyway, the peice was knocking around. Why not use it?

Ok, cool color, cool wings, cool weapon, cool chest and legs and good pics, so, since I need to rate it down for the 'blocks head, I'd say a 5/5 is ok here... :)
