About this creation
I don't know what to say about this one. I made a box out of legos for organizing legos. The box consists of 700+ black 2x4 bricks and a lot of grey plates. This box helped me complete my recent mech, the EX-81 Lightning. I will rearrange the colors and shapes to suit another build in the future. It is a very sturdy box and also has a lid.

let me say first of all, that I posted my comment before reading through the onslaught of debate. My comment was meant to be humorous and uplifting. And you should know, my keyboard I am typing this on is ALSO made of legos...

Gawsh. Someone should start a Debate Group if this thing keeps going on. Anyway, simple, but helpful. Do you still use it? |

Don't play dumb, Dali. That comment is obviously thoroughly sarcastic. It's really not a bad mech, either, for a beginner. |

Hmmm, I may not be one to jump into this converstaion, but it seems to me this is a heated debate. Everyone needs to just chill out. These are just Legos. I mean why get all pissed over a few Legos anyway. Now for the people who think that comment was mean, get some common sense. He was saying that it was a great creation in a funny way. And those of you that even commented like that on this page, how rude. Slamming other people using comments is just low. Lets remeber that these are just pieces of plastic, not something to bicker about. Anyway great creation, and I am sorry for the way people have commented on this. |

Dali, that really was a really rude review. By making fun of him without him even knowing about it, and not giving him even a bit of constructive critism, you're not doing yourself or him any favors. If you act like that on Flickr, you'll wish you had never created an account over there.
How was that rude? I told him his MOC is excellent. |

This is a great idea, but I would need those pieces. I would rather make a gun than use this to store my LEGOŽ. Nice job anyway. |

i've said this previously, phong and dali could be arrogant if they wanted, but they aren't, and that is what truly makes them lego greats. the fact that they are some of the best builders helps as well! |
|
|
Quoting Somewhere Man the two of you seem to be building up some considerably high pedestals for yourselves. You keep saying things like "keep on building and you'll eventually become as good as me"
Dude, we have never said anything to imply any arrogance. People now-a-days have forgotten the difference between self-esteem and arrogance. It's O.K. to call your self a great builder if you are. You're not being arrogant. We NEVER went and rubbed our skills in people's faces. We've never said anything close to "Keep trying and you'll be able to build like me." Nor have we implied that. Even if we were to do that, it wouldn't be arrogance, but our society is so filled with envy that people now would consider it arrogance and bragging, because their own envy clouds their minds. Now people believe that they can't talk good about themselves due to humanity's loss of understanding what real arrogance is compared to what self-esteem is. Don't call yourself any less than what you are. I often see some really talented people saying, "Aww, I'm not that good." Instead of praising them for their modesty, I often look down on them for their lack of guts to say how good they really are. To me, modesty is often lying. It also seems like a way for people to get more praise and recognition. When you call yourself less than what you are, people often say, "Are you kidding?! You're amazing!" I feel like people use modesty as a tool to get that extra praise. In my perspective, modesty is hidden arrogance. You just need to look deeper. When you only look at what they said, you praise them more, but think, are they really just looking for more praise? |

BEST MECH EVER ALSDKGJLAERKTFGSDIJ 10/10 EXCELLENT *explodes*
http://mocpages.com/moc.php/116231#reviews
What the eff was that for?! It's his first mech, he's obviously new and he's probably not too old. Yes, his photography, and dialogue seemed to be from someone smarter than a 5th grader but who knows. Not even Toby takes his own pictures for Pete's Sake! I don't honestly know why I'm exploding on you like this, maybe I'm just in an irate mood today but I really didn't think a comment like that was necessary. You should have at least told him where to improve and how. I'm sorry if you take any offense to this but I really don't think that was appropriate. On a side note, I consider both you and Phong as friends but the two of you seem to be building up some considerably high pedestals for yourselves. You keep saying things like "keep on building and you'll eventually become as good as me" and even if that's not exactly what you said or meant, that's how you come off as. I'm really not trying to be rude here but I think that you could do with a little less high and mighty comments on other people. Sure they're not as good as you at the moment, you're one of the better mech builders here on MOCpages, I'll give you that. But that doesn't give you the privilege to shove your skills in someone else's face and say that you're outright better than them. If I'm being irrational here let me know. I don't want to get into an argument, I just want you to know how you come off as and I guess that one comment fired me off. Keep on building ~ Nowhereman |

Wow, big collection! I'm not exactly rolling in dough, so I can't afford a big stash to build straight out of. I build on LDD, catalog the pieces, and usually buy them on Bricklink. This is very creative (as Mr.Phipson said) though! I wouldn't have thought to build a LEGO box out of LEGO. |
