This one's apparently got milk. Well... Had milk. Want flowers.
The perfect aide to any flourishing florist's store... a cute, efficient and effective means of transporting joy from one part of town to another - the Divco truck!
This lovable Divco was recently restored and is now ready to roll around the city and deliver some happiness - not in its usual form of dairy products, but it still caries a rather natural product!
Divco trucks were equipped with a brilliant driving system which had the gas and brakes positioned next to the steering wheel. In that way, the driver did not have to sit down in order to operate one of these and that was a feature we wanted to bring to our creation.
The reason for that is that these ones were regularly used as milk distribution trucks, so they had to make multiple stops every other minute - and having the driver sit down and stand up all the time was quite impractical for that.
Building this one was an extremely fun experience and I guess it shows... SNOT, hinges, unorthodox angles - you name it, it's got it :)
Curvy, smooth... some might even call it streamlined? In its day this must have been the prodigy of Miss Cuteness and Mr Practicality
The cargo compartment can easily be accessed by the driver without the need of getting out from the truck. However, sometimes you just have to get out, open up and start loading...
