The high profile assassin, Spectrum, pilots this one of a kind space combat mecha. The Prismatic Shadow is truly first in its class: equipped with state of the art light bending camouflage plating and the devastating defraction rifle, which is capable of destroying the strongest of ships.
About this creation
Figure for scale. My repeat visitors may recognize him ;)
Spectrum is known throughout most populated galaxies and accepts only the most risky and difficult missions. Although his price is only attainable to galactic leaders and tyrants, his success rate is second to none.
Whereas the goal of "Bubblegum" was to attain interesting textures and a somewhat mechanically realistic feel, Prismatic Shadow is a work of color and shape. It is completely over the top, like many of the anime inspired mechas before it.
The wings not only look cool and serve as the source of propulsion, but allow the mecha to balance in a variety of ways.
It features 16 points of articulation (many of which are ball joints), which allow for a variety of striking poses.
The infamous defraction rifle, whose value is matched only by the mecha it is carried by, can penetrate the thickest of hulls. This laser has quietly phased scores of high profile targets out of existence.
This MOC has been featured on the Brother's Brick.

Ok wow, this is great! Cool poses, means it has good joints and weight ratio. Fun to see those colors, plus those printed slopes look wild along with them too. Very nice! Actually I bet this thing would blur past you like a "Prismatic Shadow", cool name, perfect fit! |
