Frontline Heroes: Feta Squad
My updated entry into the UNE Minifig Contest
About this creation

Feta Squad (pronounced "faa-tah") is without a doubt one of the most decorated squads in the whole of the UNE Armed Forces. A part of the ODST, these six men are also some of the longest surviving UNE soldiers on the front lines.

"Feta 1": Captain Alex "Wily" Edmondson. The commanding officer of Feta Squad, Alex hold numerous medals to his name. The "Cross of Valor" (outstanding leadership in heavy battle circumstances) and the "Badge of Courage" (victory in a battle against numbers superior to 5 to 1) He is equipped with the newest model of assault rifle, a full face helmet, standard supply pack, a grenade, and a pair of binoculars.

"Feta 2": Sgt. James "Blocky" Blocksmith. Armed exactly the same as our dear commander.

"Feta 3": Cpl. Brody "Clubs" Johnson, because every good squad needs a "Johnson". The heavy trooper of the group, Johnson has the usual pack and grenade, but carries an anti-tank rifle and a Gauss carbine.

"Feta 4": Lt. Max "Sparky" Gemmer. The Comm Techie of the group, Sparky has the usual grenade and rifle, but instead of a supply kit, he carries a powerful transmitter to recieve commands from base.

"Feta 5": Sgt. Micheal "Gears". The squads mechanic/engineer. Armed lightly, with only basic body armor and the standard SMG, Gears prefers speed and ease of movement over power. An ex-dropship pilot, the story goes that Micheal got fed up with moving slow and having to take everything thrown at him. After a grief spell as a fighter pilot on the "Hammerhead", he came to offer his ability to drive nearly anything to the troops on the front.

"Feta 6": Pvt. Arnold "Shorty" Brukheimer. Though called "Shorty" by his squadmates, Arnold stand at a whopping 6'5" and shows great promise. Because his towering frame poses a large target for enemy fire, Shorty wears a full suite of body armor. Shown here with the standard SMG and a grenade.

The equipment, from left to right, top to bottom: Standard full face helmet, Standard open helmet, modified open helmet with infra red vision capabilities, Comm pack, Binoculars, Grenade, Standard supplies kit, Anti-tank rifle, Gauss carbine, Assault rifle, Standard SMG.

Well, technically, anyone with the armor on is a commander. I just like the reg guy. I also have the gray, a blue for the Ice Corps (which I really need to post) and even a green guy.
