I found these pages while looking for some alternative ideas for my kids' 3in1 Lego sets. This place is great, in fact, lately when I am choosing new sets for my children, I consult this site for their "MOCability".
However, I quickly found that some great looking alternatives are too fragile for my children's play, this inspired me to try to fix them and before I knew it, I enjoyed coming up with ideas of my own. If I had time for another hobby, I can easily see myself getting serious with MOCing, it is quite challenging and a good creativity practice. Perhaps in another lifetime.
Given that my motivation is kids, making instructions has been high on my list, but the Lego Designer came up rather short. I started to produce instructions with camera (taking pictures while taking things apart) and Photoshop and kids seem to have no problems following them.
By sharing these here I make the time I spent making them more worthwile. Enjoy.
