Hey, you magnificent geeks. I don't have a lot of time to build, but I've done a thing or two that amuse me. So I'll be posting photos of my creations and explain as best I can how I did this and that. I've also stumbled across a few neat building techniques and I'll share those too.
First things first - RUN to your nearest RadioShack and buy all of the 1/8" Rare Earth Magnets they've got. They're $1.98 for a package of two. They fit very snugly inside LEGO parts (don't cram them into any rare parts - the parts can't be reused). They're incredibly strong - as in, you can put them in your spaceship's landing struts and leave the whole ship hanging from the side of your fridge for hours. I'll post some photos of how they can be used, too.
