Hello there,
welcome!
I have been lurking around for a decade and it is time I made an appearance.
Thank you very much to everyone who sent us pictures of their favourite Lego moc they have built and love. Thank you to all the information about yourselves that you have included. And a big thank you to those who have offered help, spread the word and sent us praise over the months. It has been great to get to know you all.
The idea was simple- instead of producing a Lego book about Lego creations to inspire Lego fans, we thought we would try to make an art & design type book that just so happens to be filled with amazing creations made with Lego. We wanted non-Lego fans who don't have a clue what we can make to say "That's made of Lego? Wow!" We put our idea out there and jumped a few hurdles, but tripped over a few too. As a fan driven book it was ultimately up to the fans to build this idea into reality.
For a number of different reasons, whether it be a lack on our part to spread the word far enough or a lack of support from Lego fan sites or even an ongoing legal issue with the publishing company with whom we first mentioned the idea to over four years ago, amongst other hurdles, we are having to pass on bringing this book to light. We tried. There isn't much more to say at the moment except keep building fantastic Lego creations. They don't have to be the biggest or use a million bricks. So long as they capture your imagination and hopefully you can pass on the fun to your kids so they can have all of the Lego memories as children that you have had. All the best to all of you. Thank you and good night :)
I may still upload pics of my mocs here every now and then so feel free to continue adding your mocs to the page if you so desire :)
