A long time ago(about thirty years.) In my moms basement. I tried with much dissatisfaction to make more or less the ships and locations that follow. At the time mom wouldn't buy the Legos I wanted and Lego wouldn't give them to me, at least they never returned my letters. So working with a limited selection my attempts became less and less frequent until eventually they weren't even attempted. Then fate smiled I had a son, Lucas continued the saga, and Lego made a Landspeeder....Buying and building, my son was having trouble playing. To big for his four year old hands, to fragile for his dexterity. He was constantly asking me to fix a cockpit or a wing or a something. So I decided to remake them more to his size. The first thing was to make them fit his hands so he could carry more than one (makes for better battles with one in each hand.) Next to make them sturdier(there are more pieces then a comparable size Lego set.) Lastly to get figures in and out easily, I removed the cockpit(it also helps me control relative size from ship to ship.) I liked the results of the first couple and my son thought they were easy to play with. So I am still building and he is still playing. This all lead into carving my own heads to get more people and making cases like Mos Eisley and Deathstar to keep them in. These are the results. Please take a look, comment or critique, I'm going to build.
U.S.S. EnterpriseThis is my version of the Enterprise. Although I'm not a huge fan of the series, my dad is. He always commented on all my Star Wars ...
