Sgyreju's LEGO creations

Hi! I'm French, in my mid-twenties, and recently back to LEGO building.
My favorite theme is City/Town, back in the early 1990s I had a lot of the Town sets. I would have liked to have some Castle and Pirate sets, but of course I couldn't have everything and my parents had decided to focus on Town (maybe because I'm a girl, and they didn't think that I would be interested in pirates and knights?). As I grew older I got some Model Team and later Technic sets.
I also own some Belville sets, which I bought myself as I was old enough to do that when they were released (and my parents didn't like them much so they wouldn't have bought them for me). I know that many AFOLs don't like the Belville line, and as I've never been into girly stuff I didn't like the pink and shiny look of them, but I liked the figs and the animals because they looked more realistic than the ones in the System line. Now I like both System and Belville, in different ways, and as I think Belville scale offers some interesting possibilities, I intend to build some MOCs in that scale some day (but not in the typical Belville color scheme :-D).
My favorite pre-dark ages sets are 6399 Airport Shuttle (probably the best Christmas gift I ever got), 5590 Whirl and Wheel Super Truck (which I almost never got, because I was too young for it when it was released, and when I was deemed old enough for it, it was pulled off - my mom found it by chance on the top shelf of a shop a few months later), 8880 Super Car and 8485 Control Center II. Now that I'm back to LEGO building, I love the collectible minifigs, the modular buildings (I got 10211 Grand Emporium for Christmas), the Creator houses and the large exclusive sets like Tower Bridge, Taj Mahal and Grand Carousel (my grandfather was a fan of those sets and I inherited some from him when he passed away).
I'm only getting started on MOCs, so there isn't anything great to see here yet - but I hope that with practice I'll get better :-)
