These warplanes are all made to a scale of 1:18. (Which is 2.1 Lego units per foot.) Once a model is completed I take photographs and then draw a plan.This allows me to rebuild models and improve them-as new parts become acailable. I have now March 2011) made 150 planes-which averages out at 5 new models each year.
