The history of the Alteran Commonweath

the Alterans first setteled on Dakara, seeding life in the milky way galaxy with there molecular manipulator. after the plauge struck they either ascended or loaded up in one of the three city starships leaving the galaxy. these city starships were:

Atlantis: went to the Pegasus galaxy

Lemuria: followed Atlantis to the Pegasus galaxy

Macaedas: went to the Andromeda galaxy

Lemuria was eventually buried bneath a planet and all of its towers leveled except the central tower. after a great time the city was simply called the tower

Atlantis is inhabited by the Tauri after the ancients abandoned it

Macaedas the most advanced of the 3 city starships is the current home base of the Alteran Shipyards and the Alteran commonwealth

Macaedas now rests on Alteras prime

Macaedas is in the best condition and regularly makes the journey to the Bazarr a gathering of large vessels to trade once a year
Atlantis has been flown once to another planet
Lemuria is non-flyable

Efforts have been made to restore Lemuria to working condition in order to keep it out of the hands of of the Asurans

there are currently 6 generation 5 city starships completed by the shipyards and 3 generation 8's

Uban Asaratas has been given to EDA and is simply waiting for them to pick it up
