Welcome Everyone to Amhakia Visions!

A recent "solution" I was considering to a building dilema.
My name is Mark Kelso, and I'm a professional artist. So yes, I actually do have a life. ☺ (For those unconvinced, please consider yourself welcome to visit my art website, markkelsoart.com., any time you require evidence. I could understand why you would!)

But around here I'm just another victim of the all-consuming, uber-maniacal, life-devouring passion that is Lego.

A Little Background:
I was born in 1967 (yeah, I know...AGES ago!), and grew up with Lego. I put the bricks away in my teens, to pursue other interests...namely women...and didn't return until December of 2006 (having found the perfect woman, and somehow talking her into marrying me!). It was then I stumbled upon MOCpages, as well as other on line sites for Lego. With that discovery, I said farewell to reality, and began the rapid and dark descent into tortured madness, joining the other countless rabble of ABS victims...known as AFOL's (adult fans of Lego). So, there it is. December of 2006, and another AFOL is consumed by the fires of Legohaulism!
Currently:
I have a passion for large, detailed creations, and I'm currently working on a 7' model of the sister ship to the Spirit of Fire (from the game, Halo Wars), called the Eye of Chaos.

I also enjoy story-telling and am finally getting back to a series called Apocalypsis, which I hope to return to some time in 2013.

From time to time, smaller creations find their way onto the Lego table, and though the theme of space is a personal favorite, I'll also often tackle landscape, and castle subjects.

Meanwhile, welcome to the hallowed ground of yet another AFOL. Feel free to kick your shoes off, sit a spell, and take in all that...wait...what the hell's that smell?...Okay, put your shoes back on! Anyway, feel free to sit a spell, and have a look around. Comments are always welcome, and there's bonus points for humor, sarcasm, or poetic irony! Enjoy!
