PACTA
Following nearly a century of icy relations with a Kaiser-dominated Europe, tensions have begun to rise between the Americas and Europe. The American nations, united by interests of independence, democracy, and economy, signed the Pan-American charter in 1995, officially forming the Pan-American Commerce and Trade Alliance, PACTA. PACTA stands in defiance of European domination, isolated, but proud. A series of crises emerge over the issue of Quebecois independence- they demand it, but Europe would certainly gain influence- and a foothold in the Americas. Both sides standing for their beliefs, war seems inevitable. Militaries are expanded, upgraded, and mobilized. This is the Dark Mirror.
