I'm somewhat of a Star Wars fan and was fortunate enough to win 25 LEGO Star wars sets back in 1999 in France. I really was too young to get or buy KENNER Star Wars sets, so this was a chance to get some models of my favourite SF movies.
However, I knew there are hundreds of cool vehicles in the Star Wars universe, and when I found out LEGO wasn't allowed (or didn't intend) to build them, I decided to make these models myself, and add them to my ever growing collection of Star Wars vehicles. I try to keep as close to 'LEGO versions' as I can, so even using odd colours in interiors etc. I perceive the fact that kids during exhibitions ask me if a creation is a LEGO set or a MOC as a compliment. Of course this means some details get lost, but at least my MOCs look good between the official sets.
(of course the abovementioned can also be used as an excuse for my crappy MOC building ;) )
Pretty much all of the models you'll see on these pages have stayed intact after having been built (which makes the hobby quite expensive), because I find it rather hard to say goodbye to a successful model. Most of the models I've built have been constructed in Ldraw first, after which (wih some minor alterations) the final model is made.
I hope you'll like my models, and please leave some feedback!
