Hello, and welcome to my page. I don't have a whole lot to say at the moment, but here's the low-down on my work:
I like Lego (as I'm fairly confident we all do here), but lack the financial means to get myself the bricks i want in the quantity and color I need. Lego Digital Designer was supposed to help with that, but in reality is pretty sucky and restrictive. So i went out and made my own LDD.
Basically what I've got is a constantly growing library of bricks built from scratch in Google Sketchup, which is free and fairly intuitive. With that, I can make as many bricks as I could ever want, assemble them as in real life, color at will, and package it up for a render in Kerkythea. It's pretty nifty.
So yeah, I'm anticipating a half&half mix of real and virtual legos in my gallery over time. Thank you again for coming.
BREAKING NEWS! (5/5/10)
My brick pack has been posted at the link below for public use at the request of Voodoo Child. The link for the (free) download of the host program is also below. I will continue to update the brick pack as I make more bricks. Take some time to learn the basic controls of the program and you too can make 3d models without the restrictions of LDD! Be sure to read the description for the brick pack and build responsibly.
