TEMPORARY CESSATION: FROM NOON TODAY (FEB. 18, UNTIL SOMETIME ON TUESDAY, THE 23RD, I WILL BE OFFLINE. I'M FINALLY MOVING THE LAST OF MY STUFF OUT OF THIS APARTMENT AND GOING TO THE NEW ONE. MY INTERNET CONNECTION WILL NOT BE RE-ESTABLISHED UNTIL THEN, ALAS, BUT I WILL BE BUILDING MY PLASTIC ENTRIES FOR THE MOC ATHALON TO BE READY TO UPLOAD AS SOON AS I'M BACK ON. (BII HOPES THAT YOU ARE NOT INCONVENIENCED BY THE CHANGES AND TRUSTS THAT YOU WILL CONTINUE TO AVAIL YOURSELF OF OUR FINE SERVICES AND PRODUCTS AFTER WE ARE SETTLED IN OUR NEW INTERDIMENSIONAL HEADQUARTERS.)
I am a 62 year old psychedelic relic, a rabid fan of science fiction, fantasy and mythology (primarily Celtic and Greek), a semi-retired writer/artist and a confirmed Legomaniac. Creating worlds and universes has always been a passion of mine and this is very easy to do with Lego. I got my start with them centuries ago, back in the early 70's (right after they introduced the posable figs) and I've gone through a Dark Age but in November I rejoined the Legoverse through Mocpages. I have two tips for the novice Legomaniac; Build, build, build, and View, view view!
And now, my "faves".
Space Babes I'd fight alongside (In no particular order): Lt. Wilma Deering, Princess Leia, Queen Amadala, Wyoming Knott (see Heinlein), Ripley, Galaxina, Seven of Nine, Lt. Uhura, Princess Vespa, Barbarella, and , of course, my own Nova Starr.
Space guys whose backs I'd cover (again, no particular order): Commando Cody, Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon, Lazarus Long, Dr. Who, and Klatuu.
My favorite Lego builders are too numerous to mention here, (and I've barely scratched the surface!)
Same with my favorite creations.
My battle colors are green and black; my clan totem is the crow; my personal symbol is a winged artist's brush and my avatar is the Hierophant.
My allegiance is to Blind Justice and my favorite quotation is: "I feel more like I do now than I did when I got here."
I guess thats about it - for now.
SHAMELESS PLUG: The Lost Expedition Trading Post, The Undersea Kingdom, Furniture Interdimensional Enterprises, 2010: A Space Oddity, and The Sawhorse Redemption are all accepting new members. All you have to do to join is post at least one creation with the required qualifications.
