I mainly stick to sci-fi-ish stuff but I'll make virtually anything. I make smaller mocs due to my lack of legos, but I am making several orders from bricklink.

A few things that give me a good feeling:
Opening a fresh bag of Legos and seeing a shiny, brightly colored 2x4 brick.
Going to a garage sale and finding an old box of Legos, full of a discontinued theme.
Going to a store and finding a lego set on clearance.
Seeing that someone left an encouraging comment on my Mocs.
