I've been building Lego for about a year now, and have thoroughly enjoyed the journey so far.
I'm a 18 year old Canadian fellow, who's fascinated by the potential of the little plastic brick we all know and love. When I look at Lego, I don't see a simple toy. What I see is a beautiful system of interlocking ideas, which present me not only the ability to create, but somehow seem to create themselves. As I build, I find that my creations transform throughout the process, being shaped as much by my imagination as the medium that they are created in. It's a truly wonderful feeling as my hands, mind and the little Lego bricks work together to form a symphony that builds upon itself layer after layer. I continually enjoy losing myself in the musical crashing of Lego as I look for that last little piece, and then maybe just one more.... The countless possibilities of Lego are truly astounding and hopefully I'll to be able to explore them for years to come.
At the moment, I am currently studying engineering at university, but even among my studies, I make sure to find time that I can spend away from the rigors of assignments, and delve into creativity and imagination. Along with my passion for Lego, I also enjoy playing water polo, biking, swimming, playing cello or saxophone as well as reading.
I am a believer in the saving power of Christ and I thank God for the gift of creativity he has given everyone here at MOC pages. To him be the glory. I hope that my actions in this community will be able to point others towards him.
