Update on 11/4/12
ATTEMPTING CONTACT: Hogwarts is coming along well. done with great hall, most of the rockwork, and most of the base of the castle itself. I recently saved up and bought a mid-range DSLR so I may attempt to test it out in the form of some progress pics. I plan to take this model to the very end! So far I have managed to support the pecuniary aspects of the hobby, even with the purchase of all the new Lord of the Rings sets. :D
Update on 3/24/12
I scrapped Cirith Ungol! Sadface :( It would have just cost too much at the minifigure scale. I'll post the final progress pics sometime though! Now I am building Hogwarts! It's going extremely well, but with school and all I don't have much time. Also, I am doing lots of odd jobs to save up $370 to buy ALL of the new Lord of the Rings sets that come out in June! :D

My Bricklink order finally came! Yay! Time to get to work ;) Hopefully I won't have to make another order once I've exhausted this one. :P Check back soon!

Blahrg. I rebuilt the... wall.... I'm hoping my Bricklink order will come tomorrow! I just have realised how mediocre my previous models have been. :P Well I'll have to let you go from this gripping update, so.... Check back anytime. Bye.
Well, here's the intro to the House of Blocks!
I've now been MOCing for ~5 years! I love many of the creations I've seen, and can really appreciate seeing people as nerdy (and proud of it) as me.
***skip this section if you don't care about random stuff 'bout me, lol***
My name is Joe and I'm 15. I live in Alaska, USA (which is the best country ever!)I like to build things with LEGOs (obviously), write music, spend time with my GF and friends, skateboard, play video games, do photography, make films, play the euphonium, do woodworking, and chill with muh homies xD I'm an open minded agnostic.
Some of the music I like: Emery, Muse, the Beatles, all Latin American music, and lots of movie and video game soundtracks.
My favorite books are the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, the Inheritance Cycle, the Chronicles of Narnia, the Harry Potter Series, and the Septimus Heap Series.
My football teams are the Vikings and the Giants. My baseball team is the Minnesota Twins. My college B-ball team is the Syracuse Orange!
Some video games I like to play are Skyrim, Halo Reach, MW3, Tropico 4, Gears of War 3, Assassin's Creed, and many others.
The best movies I've ever seen are Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, the Lincoln Lawyer, Donnie Darko, all of the Lord of the Rings movies, all of the Star Wars movies, Yes Man, and the Harry Potter movies.
