Many summers ago, mostly in response to the great creations we had seen online, Greg Keith and I all set out to build as large castles as our supplies could afford.
At that time we had a bit of a cold war buildup of knights troops and war machines and thus held a few gigantic scale lego battles.
After that point Keith and I began to explore the world of Lego Digital Designer. We spurred creation by starting with a few competing projects (we'd do something like each build a bridge on a three quarter plate base maximum). After that we have gone further to create some really fun random projects.
Next we moved on to creating a matching collection of space MOCs, Keith with a neat blue and grey theme and my own white yellow and grey for the Duggonian Space Navy.
Now recently I've had the pleasure of reorganizing my office and putting in all sorts of lego storage and the big project of organization/cleaning of all my old jumbled piled up sets and MOCs has begun in earnest. And the biggest bonus is that I have real bricks accessible again and man it's amazing to get back into using the real thing :)
