Mocpages Accout Overhaul
Hey guys, this is my homepage, “The Big Red Brick”. I am an Avid Mocer from the flickr LEGO community, and was part of what is now dubbed by me as the great migration. In 2008, I found MOCpages while googling “Clone Troopers”. From 2008- April 2010 was my “noob” era, in which I was a member of Mocpages for two years, was an avid clonetard, and later began improving my grammar. My Page is currently undergoing overhaul, which will be done before my series “Force Recon: 2014” begins.
The Noob Era of Brian Carter
At the beginning of my noob era, I saw a few clone troopers by Phillip Morgan. Morgan was an amazing clone builder, using paint and decals, I believe. I joined about a month after developing a new interest into Lego, which I had stopped building because I had thought myself “too cool” for it. This started by MOCpages era.
In the summer of 2009, I met fellow MOCpages member “Commander Jet” (Later Nicks Bricks). We started UCPI, and eventually he created EAW along with Commander Blaze. This ended my Clonetard era. In the fall of 2009, I joined Alpha Company, only to jump ship a month later, working on UCPI again. In November, I jumped back on ship and continued a noob era until April. That was when I became an avid Flickr Member, and WW2 builder.
The Flickr Era of Brian Carter
By April of 2010, I was part of a group called Brick of the Somme. From February- April I rose to the rank of Administrator, thus beginning my flickr era. By June, I created “Echo Company”, which lasted only until August. In August, I became part of Tabletown Country universe, but that didn’t last long. By September, I was back and better than ever in Alpha Company. I stepped out in October due to a builder’s block, but by November, I was building again. On November 16, 2010, I claimed AC’s A-1-2 squad slot, making a home there until November 25. On November 25, I created “Echo Strike Force Special Forces”, as a restart of “Echo Company”. ESFSF is still going strong, making it my most successful group. By December I was involved in AC again, working hard. I still currently maintain the follow groups and build for them:
- Federal Republic of France
- Task Force Phantom
- Alpha Company Forums
Some of my favorite builders:
Keith Goldman- A funny guy, massive MOCs
Evan "Legosim" Melick- A great person to be around, and he's helped me a lot.
Aleksander Stein- The stereotypical Nordic Rockstar, except... he isn't a rockstar?
Magnus Lauglo- A good guy to be around, the founder of Modular Landscape Systems
Chandler Parker- A good guy.
I probably missed a few, but you are just as good ;-)

Wow, amazing MOC. The structure at the checkpoint is really cool. I wish I had such gifts like you!
I also don’t like it when people use zippo grammar. If you were on flickr, you wouldn’t last long >.>
