48 vehicles from the same set of 55 pieces...

Hi there, and welcome to my page,

Each car was built out of only set # 8150, the ZX Turbo. It 's a personal chalenge : to make a cool car out of only 55 pieces. They're not the easiest to build but there's less problems with a lack of pieces ;o)

The ZX Turbo Racer is one of the new "Glow in the Dark" models for 2008. Product description from LEGOŽ :
"January 2008 : one of the most new tiny turbos, this, named Racers ZX Turbo (8150) ! Light up the night ! The ZX Turbo is racing through the night ! Watch its side exhaust pipes glow-in-the-dark as this touring car speeds down the city streets to victory. Just build it (or on video) and race ! "

Its my favorite racers set, I really like the styling on this car and his realistic car design make it stand out from the rest of the tiny turbo collection. It's a 1:55 scale model (meaning it's about three inches long), comprised of 55 parts. I don't know what's up with all the repetitions of "55".

Its extremely detailed for a tiny turbo. Nice piece assortment, is easy make another with these contents. Most of the 55 parts are quite common, but this set has two stand-outs. The first is the "Black Slope, Curved 2 x 4 x 2/3 No Studs" that creates the front windshield. This part is new for 2008 - so far only appearing in three Racer sets : 8148, 8150 and 8152. The second new part from this set : the Glow In The Dark Lightsaber Blade. I like the glow in the dark parts and for star wars lovers, this highly recommended because of the lightsabers.

I'm a french speaker, I come from Belgium, a very little country in Europe but my english is hopefully understandable ;o)
