I welcome any suggestions for future models and feedback about ones I've already made, and I'm always looking for ways to improve the guns especially. Any feedback is welcome, but please DON'T ask me for instructions for any of my existing models. Too late, they've already been dismantled.
I'm working on a new project (at last) - I know, lots of people thought I wouldn't have any new models in the future. This is my first real venture into LDraw. It's an M16, which will be fully functional if I ever actually build it for real. The pic above is most of what is built so far: the back section of the lower receiver and the spring housing (kept within the stock), as well as the bolt in red.
EDIT:
I'm not quite happy with the firing mechanism for that and I'm working on redesigning it. Progress is slow, I rarely have time for this stuff any more :(
I came across something really useful to get the dimensions as accurate as possible - this page has Acrobat drawing files of AR15-type parts, so for anyone who knows how to read technical drawings there's no excuse for getting the dimensions wrong!
