I'm Julia (Jelp2244, jlp2244,and so forth), a Christian TFOL, and I joined MOCpages in late March of 2014. (About my name, no, LeeP isn't my real last name, nor is it a misspelling, as it is an acronym-- okay, SORT of an acronym-- for my several last names. And the "P" is uppercase on purpose.) Feel free to skim the following as you wish-- no, not ALL of it is important ;)
I started building seriously a little over a year ago (the reason for my miniscule collection) through the Lego MBA program (which I got into because of Lego Star Wars, which, sadly or not, isn't even interesting for me anymore). Before I started to post on sites, I thought I was talented, as was told that I was...:P... now I know better-- I probably won't ever be as talented as some of the builders on this site, but I can try, learn, practice, and experiment. I enjoy almost all types of Lego building, quite frankly, but if I had to choose a few of my favorite groups (although these change from time to time), they would probably be historical scenes such as castles, pirates, etc., robots and mechas, and creations that I can use in real life (such as the fan I am working on right now, pencil holders, chess games, clocks, etc.).
My Flickr account is here, if you ever care to see higher-quality photos of my MOCs, although I'm afraid to say I don't spend that much time cleaning it up or customizing it. I also often add extra photos to Flickr. Oh, and randomly enough, I do have Lego only email if you have a question for me, need to send information securely, etc.: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Many thanks to the 37 people who call me a favorite builder! Your support is much appreciated.
Do you like building castles and medieval settings? How about historical scenes? Are you a LOTR buff? Do you love to read and write fiction? If you are any and every part of the above, this group is for you: The Lands Of Mythron , or the LOM. So check it out. And, if you are going to join a faction, there is no doubt about it, Mythron is the best! Seriously though, the LOM is a really great group of active FOLs, and if you join, believe me, you won't regret it.
