The History of Rogue Timelord
I started using system Legos when I was five. My grandpa gave me an airplane set, and I really liked putting it together again and again, but I always felt like there was more to Lego than following the instructions. So after a few years, I stopped using instructions. I always just threw them out. As the years passed, my collection grew and so did my skill. I was always coming up with new techniques and found new ways to look at any ordinary piece. Although, my creations never got more widely known about than my own family. So one year, I brought my rendition of Treasure Island to the state fair. The rules of the competition were clear, they had to be original (no instructions), and there had to be an index card somewhere with the title and builder. The rules were not followed. The winning creations were either sets, or built by someone out of the age group. I lost. But I didn't let that get to me, I kept building. I was just having too fun to let unfair defeat stop me. I still wished my creations would get noticed somehow, so I looked online for someplace to show off my creations. One day, I discovered MOCpages. I was instantly hooked and made an account. I came up with the name Rogue Timelord as my screen name, because the Doctor (Doctor Who on BBC) is a Timelord, and the Rogue Shadow is the name of my favorite ship from Star Wars. From then on, Rogue Timelord has been MOCing every day and has no intention of quitting.
